Thank you for the rundown. Not sure if you want to uPdate this info, but from other discussions the linear workflow checkbox is really a quick fix and not recommended. One should use the input gamma option under the file textures attribute and choose there gamma option from there. I'm also curious as to clamp and subpixel options if that should be checked or unchecked. As well as affect swatches, seems like it should all be done under the hood once let is established? Anyways thanks and keep up the nice tips!
